Great grip so far, easy on and off. With one caveat I have ordered the next size up as I will be wearing these rubber bottomed insulated winter boots. Boots 12EE. I think that when ordering, you consider the volume of the boot, not the shoes, hiking shoes. Also glad I ordered an orange after hiking through uneven fields, one of which was rolled in ice and 1/2 foot of snow. I didn't notice until I reached what turned out to be about 100 feet away. The next day the orange was easy to spot! It's different if you put them indoors on a wood/laminate/tile floor. Step on a flat foot or you might slip! I like these as they made hiking in the woods a lot safer in a few weeks of snow followed by rain and a few quick freezes. No slip. Not sure if the spikes are that good for extreme hikes or steep slopes, but they work well on trails and moderate hills.
