Works well as a lid holder, soft, close to the top

Overall I like these lid holders. I'll be using several of these, so I wanted to test one first. The lid I used weighed 3.84 pounds and was 21 inches wide by 14 inches wide. My test setup used a self-closing cabinet hinge that works against soft closing. I expect a hidden soft-close hinge to work to allow full soft-close customization. Adjustment allows you to adjust closing speed and can help adjust weight.
