It's good but it's not leather

It's good but it's not leather. I've constantly wondered why so many things labeled "leather" are so often (and obviously) synthetic, and why these manufacturers get away with calling it that. Last year my friend in the leather business explained this to me with great bitterness. Apparently there is a federal criterion that allows manufacturers to label something as "leather" if it contains at least 10% leather content. Basically they can mulch real leather, mix it with synthetic/plastic which saves them a lot in front of many and name that leather without falling into the trap of false advertising or scams. Here's my position: 10% of skin is no skin. Period. And these people make leather notorious. This steering wheel cover is NOT leather. It covers the wheel, doesn't slide, and I love the sleek, solid black look of my darkened interior. It's bulky as others have said, but I don't mind because it looks a lot cleaner than the mangled and clammy skin underneath. I didn't have such a difficult time putting it on, but it's still holding up really well. I have a 15 inch wheel on my nose.

Pros
  • It's amazing
Cons
  • Some little things
