No plug and play for shoe mounts
I returned it and bought a Nikon flash. I bought a flash made for Nikon but apparently it was generic and you had to read the instructions to figure out how to get it working with your camera. never mind I sent it back. Postage did not have to be paid. And I connected the Nikon flash. And of course it worked.
