It just so happened that I was in the bingo hall when the lights went out. I gave one of the pears to my friend. I was surprised when she screwed the bracket into the bulb and it lit up. We were the only ones in bingo with lights. I live in Florida in the Ocala National Forest and we have frequent power outages. These lightbulbs will come in handy when we lose power. I recommend it wholeheartedly.
