Fairly simple replacement for a 2002 Lexus GS300. You will need to remove about 8 screws and the covers they attach to. Then the final bolt that holds the cam valve in place. That's all. He cleared the P1349 code and any cylinder misfire codes I was getting and he turned off the VSC lights and the car runs great. The mechanic's score was outrageous and it took 15 minutes max. You will need an OBD code reader to clear the codes/lights. You can get the OBD app for your phone for around $15 and the required wireless OBD device here at Revain for around $25 (I bought an orange/blue ELM327 that works with iPhone Wi-Fi) . Less than $150 total, so it's a bargain. YMMV, but this worked for me.
