Review on 📸 Enhance Your Rear-view Safety with Boyo VTL275 Rear-view Camera & Chrome License Plate Frame by Robert Gilbert

Excellent rear view camera

Blind spots behind a car or truck always bother me. I recently bought a truck with a built in reversing camera and I really liked the feature. I also have a Cadillac STS with a fairly high trunk which creates a blind spot. I searched the internet and read reviews of backup cameras and settled on this one. The frame is strong and beautiful, and the cable is just the right length to run through your car to your dash-mounted nüvi 5000 GPS navigator with video-in. Installation was easy. Since I wanted to use the bottom holes on the frame I had to drill those two holes as the STS only has two top bolts for the frame. Routing the cable was fairly easy as the trunk is fully carpeted. Only had to bend back part of the carpet to route the cable. Getting out of the trunk and into the cab was easy as I followed the existing wiring on the right hand side, exiting low under the rear seats and disappearing under the floor panel under the doors. I just put the wire under the flash and went forward to the torpedo. I put the power and ground wire in the rear connector and connected it to the tail light. This means that the camera will only turn on when the reverse lights are on. The nüvi 5000 has a large display and the reversing camera shows a detailed color image. The nüvi 5000 automatically switches to video when the camera is turned on and back to the road map when the camera is turned off. Made a small camera adjustment, rotate further down to see the ground just below the rear bumper. However, it still shows the entire display area. Very satisfied with the product.
