Fix my truck! Ideal!
2008 GMC Sierra, 160,000 miles. The truck drives intermittently when AFM is activated, ie when switching from 8 to 4 cylinders. This was particularly noticeable when braking to a standstill. You may feel a vibration in the engine. Knowing about the lift issues caused by AFM, I wanted to remove this feature. I first updated the firmware on the Predator, connected it to the truck and then followed the instructions. I selected Diablo Tune and removed AFM from the user menu. Absolutely perfect. No more vibrations and much better handling. Certainly more pep. In less than one payment for a new truck, I have eliminated my biggest complaint about my truck.
