The performance is incomparable to the price!

TIP. A piece of advice to all reviewers: before you write a review, test the product for strength. I can't tell you how many reviews I've had to go through, only to find that the reviewer had received and opened the box, and arrived on time, just minutes before a 15-page diatribe that contained absolutely no useful information. . BREAKING NEWS: If you have Revain Prime, it will arrive in time. This treat gives nothing to anyone other than an assurance that they will receive the item on time, which may or may not be a quality purchase. OVERVIEW: I'm just a regular guy making tools for a living. up to a full 8 hours a day (no product provided for this review, I paid for this item with my own hard earned money on 6/8/14 here at Revain). I've been using this drill every day for a year, swapping it out and enduring the rigors of everyday life. BENEFITS: - All the power and torque you could want from a drill - Lightweight, compact. CONS: - The trigger starts now. to fail: sometimes runs at full speed, sometimes slows down, as if the battery is almost empty on a full charge - battery life: poor; These lithium-ion batteries are short-lived. I have nicads doing rounds around these batteries. Price: With Dewalt, you always pay for the name. But before that, quality was synonymous with the Dewalt name. If I spend $200 on a drill I expect it to last a long time. I also have other drill/screwdrivers purchased earlier and at a much lower price than this Dewalt that still work today. As a result, this drill failed after a little less than 14 months of operation. At this price point, it should only gain momentum. I thought maybe investing in a higher quality drill could save me money in the long run. It turns out I was wrong, at least in this case. Whether you're an occasional tool user, a weekend hobbyist, or someone who makes a living from their tools, you can find a quality drill/screwdriver for less than this Dewalt. I know that this statement will be unpopular with "branders". I know several people who swear by their brands and are willing to pay any price for that brand. However, I approach instruments from a fantasy sports (or fantasy instrument, if you will) perspective. My tools are my team and I'm looking for the best players at the best price so we can win together without breaking the bank. And if I have to use tons of different brands to pull together that winning combination, so be it. My existence depends on it.
