Review on Libbey Heavy Base Tumbler Glasses by Brent Peterson

8 out of 8 of these packed and sealed glasses were defective. I have been using Libbey Gibraltar glasses for many years which became opalescent after use in the dishwasher so I ordered a replacement. I have never seen such poor quality in stores! Almost every glass had brush strokes visible horizontally down the sides, as if someone had run a real brush around the perimeter during production while the glass was still hot. The two glasses had what appeared to be brush marks, so bad it looked like a solid line ran down the middle of the two glasses. Some of the floors inside were not flat. Some had bubbles in the glass itself. The edges on the sides of the glass were uneven in places and indentations were visible. These would be perfect glasses if they weren't defective! Where is the quality control? It was absolute rubbish. Lately, the quality of goods ordered from Revain seems to be pretty patchy. Super disappointed and upset. Returned with no problems but can't add photos of imperfections and still gets 'cannot edit' message.
