Colors match the description. So pretty. Tear-off collars work. The length of the collar is just right for an average adult cat. My problem is getting my cats to leave the collar on to take it off. The problem with detachable collars arises with cats who don't want to wear a collar. They break them off and find them behind a piece of furniture. Make sure your cat wants to wear a collar. If he doesn't and you're more worried about him getting lost than snagging on a branch, put on a regular collar or just make sure he stays indoors.
