I like the color described as beige but it's prettier - a softer light yellow. The rounded edges and unique design are reminiscent of retro yet modern. I like that there are no grooves along the toast slots for crumbs to collect and make cleaning difficult. There is a toast guide/chart showing what the toasts will look like in different settings. The instructions are clear and simple. Also the good thing is that if you use the bagel button and put the bagel on the toaster according to the diagram, the cut side will toast and the other side will not toast and will still be soft. Or, if you prefer to toast both sides, don't hit the bagel button. I tried a few slices of toast and a bagel and it worked well. I've only had it for a few days but so far I'm very happy and love seeing it on my counter. The instructions come with a card stating that if you email the company that you like the toaster and offer an additional discount on their website, they will extend the manufacturer's one-year warranty by 6 months.
