Great for a budget dock

I bought this dock because it comes with my surface go and it works really well. I use it for an HDMI connection to my big screen TV and for a wired Ethernet connection. In the past I would sometimes lose my network connection when connecting wirelessly to my big screen TV (I have an AT&T fiber optic modem/router, and seriously, not much to write about). I was able to connect directly to the TV via an HDMI connection using a USB-C to HSMI adapter, but I was still connected to the network wirelessly and still suffered from network dropouts. And without a charger connected, USB-C could only be used for HDMI, not for charging. So. I plugged in this USB-C hub. I am very happy. My wired Internet connection speed through a hub connected to the USB-C port on my Surface Go and my router is the same as my other wired devices, better than 350 Mbps downstream and 500 Mbps (depending on the time of day with AT&T fiber). . The HDMI connection works perfectly. I connected a USB mouse to one of the ports and it works. but for me. HDMI, Ethernet, and powering the Surface from the hub are all I need. and he does his job very well. About this power supply: You need to connect at least a 45W power adapter with a PD-USB-C cable if you want to provide enough power to your device. I had a 15W charger connected to a standard USB-C cable and Surface told me it wasn't charging enough. I added a 45w PD charger and everything works very well. Edited to add: I connected my Logitech webcam to this hub with an extension cable. I was able to video conference from my couch with my big-screen TV and webcam, all controlled by my Surface Go through this hub. Worked great.
