This thing obviously has problems with multiplexing data streams from input devices. As other users point out, it turns out this is specifically for data storage. I'm not sure how this is supposed to work if you're having trouble handling mouse and headset input at the same time. It also got very hot at the HDMI input, leading me to believe the components they chose to handle the data streams are of very poor quality. I wouldn't trust any of that.

It's thin, ultra-light, with a durable body and cable. -C and should be able to connect peripherals to it, but it also became useful with my Windows 10 laptop and even my phone. Works for Samsung DEX while charging the phone at the same time. All ports work fine except for the MicroSD slot. I have to use excessive force to get the microSD card to fit properly. I'm always afraid that I'll break the card when I put it in this key. Also, it's not clear which path is UP/DOWN for the MicroSD slot, so that doesn't solve the problems either.

It's generally ok to extend the USB Type A or C ports on my computer. But the HDMI port does not work well. The color on my monitor is weird (blue -> purple) and when I moved the cables a bit they disconnected/generated noise on the monitor very easily. Below average build quality, specs etc. but works. I can't complain about the price I bought it for. Nintendo Switch compatibility is true, but it's not true. My other USB-C hub doesn't work with the switch at all. This works for USB input but not for HDMI output. Therefore, it can be used to connect a wired controller and transmit power, but not video.

I don't know if I got a bad block but I was hoping to use it as my primary card reader as I regularly take photos and video from both full size and microSD cards. The micro SD slot just didn't work. No matter how I tried to insert the cards, they stayed crooked and didn't seat properly. The full-size reader worked great.
