Received this hub today and tested all ports right away. Everything is working fine. The cord is longer than most which is a plus. I am very happy with this center.

Like - the number of plugins. switched off. And you turn on the switch later. The flash drive does not work. Until you take it out of the hub and plug it back in. So what's the on/off switch for?

Perfect In a nutshell, the reason I bought this is because I need to connect a lot of external devices at the same time, so I need one device that will power them all can. The first thing that struck me is how solid it seems. All plugins work fine. I don't need a hub that requires an AC plug. With this device, you just plug it into a USB port and you're done. I've had it for a week now and it works great. I can use seven USB ports. You can turn each of them on or off, which is indicated by a bright blue light when turned on. I can recommend this inexpensive device.

So here is my honest review. I ended up sending it back as it didn't work the way I wanted it to. If you plan on just using this to add extra USB ports for KB, mice, USB flash drives and other low-power peripherals, this works great. It has a great design and the on and off buttons are nice. I bought it and used it for 1 year with no problems except 3 ports failed and the switches didn't turn on the ports (LEDs are always off). I contacted the seller and they quickly sent a replacement which works great as expected. I recommend the product and the seller for their excellent customer service and support for their product.

It seems to be working. I've had it for about a year now and am already looking for an upgrade. The main problem I have with this device is that if I plug additional devices into it and then turn them on, everything immediately turns off and then turns on again.
