Review on OATEY Quiet 38600 Absorber Copper by Kevin Tompkins

I installed two of these shock absorbers on my dishwasher line - one on the hot line to the dishwasher and the other on the end of the pipe that goes to the faucet. Installed quickly, and that's the only plus. However, they did nothing to calm the pipes when the dishwasher was running or when they abruptly turned off the hot water on the faucet. Bang bang bang. I also tried to stabilize the tube but to no avail. In any case, they are already installed and I will not remove them to send them back as it is too much hassle. I do not recommend.
