I love these electrical connectors

I moved into a house with aluminum wiring and couldn't afford to rewire the house. Everyone said it was safe but I unplugged it to paint and it blew out. I found out about it and ordered them for all the outlets and fittings. They're expensive, but cheaper than replacing your house and everything in it. This is my first home and I have bought and am exchanging a Husky torque screwdriver. Be careful with hot wires, especially as they are very fragile and can snap out of the alucon if you tamper with the alucon too much. They're also big, so you have to be strategic when placing wires in aluminum wires and pigtails in aluminum cases, depending on where you put them on the switches, the size of the box, and how many wires are in the box. You also don't want to expose too much wire in the aluminum due to the brittleness of the wire and you also want to make sure you stick to the lb pressure recommendations otherwise you could pinch the wire too hard due to capacity limitations leading to breakage of the wires fully expand and contract. The screwdriver is more, but well worth it once you learn how to pop it. Also, women with small hands need gloves to hold the aluminum tight enough to turn the screw with the right amount of pressure.
