My welder is feeding the wire wrong, the reel has slipped over it. I wasn't sure if it was due to sand/corrosion in the liner or if the roller was slipping. I bought this roller and now it welds great. Holding the wire and pulling the trigger will push the wire further as it should. There were no grooves on this knurling roller and there was no native roller on the machine, I think that is the root of the problem
