Not 2400 lumens, but still GREAT light for the money.
Comparing this light to my Cateye 1700, you can clearly see that it's not 2400 lumens. In the picture with the light on the wall, my cat's eye is on the right and this light is on the left. You can see it's not as bright and has a much narrower pattern. That said, it's still a great $27 light compared to my $200 Cateye. The build quality feels solid and durable, and it even comes with a decent taillight. You can't get a brighter light for the money, so this little idiot gets 5 stars from me. Well done Victoria!
