They claim a maximum brightness of 2400 lumens. Mine didn't even come close. Compared to flashlights that emit 700 to 1000 lumens (spotlights). But it's a good light, it's bright and has the advertised runtime, in fact mine was better than advertised. finished and still working. Slightly scratched but still works. This 'Victagen' light is actually a USB rechargeable bike light that really is 'super bright' - '2400 lumens'! My light worked right out of the box! My order included a taillight with a battery that worked within seconds of unboxing. I am very very happy with the way the seller shipped and packaged my flashlight. I highly recommend this item for its good value for money. It is definitely a solid construction that will last for several years in all weather conditions!

Comparing this light to my Cateye 1700, you can clearly see that it's not 2400 lumens. In the picture with the light on the wall, my cat's eye is on the right and this light is on the left. You can see it's not as bright and has a much narrower pattern. That said, it's still a great $27 light compared to my $200 Cateye. This is a very well built LED light, very bright but not 2400 lumens, I got 1000 lumens it's brighter. It seems like lumen rating systems are ubiquitous these days? This is a great flashlight for the price. I use it on the handlebars for night riding with a different light on the helmet. But this one lights the way and appears to be amazing value for money.
