Review on Enhanced Uniden BC345CRS 500-Channel Clock/Radio Scanner with Weather Alert - Now Discontinued by Manufacturer by James Pfettscher

This is exactly the scanner I was looking for. At first I was concerned about the sound quality from such a small speaker, but it was very clear and loud. Programming the scanner is relatively easy if you follow the instructions in the manual, unless you plan to program all 500 channels. It will take some time. The only minor complaint I have is that the 5 buttons on the top of the device have secondary functions marked in red, which doesn't show up very well on a dark scanner. Perhaps white was the best choice. Otherwise a very good scanner for the price.
