Update 3: So I ordered 2 units (1 for me and one for someone else) My unit (unit 1) failed the simple cloning and caused a short circuit which messed up my pc a bit and i was sent block 3 as a replacement, block 2 still works so i bought my block hoping to improve my computer a bit before the holidays although it was a bad experience. on 2 and mixed bad and normal on the last one. Block 1 burned out (due to motherboard/RAM issues after shorting itself out had to reapply the profile) and now Block 3 (spare) had a few failed clones and failed clones, after over 7 attempts for a Few hours 1 somehow worked (had some issues with apps) but it worked for a while. At this point, I noticed performance lags and FPS drops, as well as a lot of unexpected issues (weird). m2 and came back with 3000 R / 2100 W (what?) so this unit doesn't work compared to my 960 evo and its own supposed specs 3200 R / 1800 W -960 evoso now I'm confused and found that it is a bit warmer than the evo, i did a test with the fans switched off to see the heat and immediately noticed that they behave completely differently, the evo remains the same. At normal room temperature (no heatsink) this XPG gets up to 85C (wow) and it has a heatsink out of the box. I then left it at that for a while and found that the R/W on the bench got worse as a result (I bet) when I re-enabled the case fans, which have a case volume refresh rate of about 20 times per second. It went back to the previous R/W, so as a side note, this has a heating issue and a slower R/W than advertised, so I spoke to customer service and they provided me with return processing and a return label (Amazon has a great one customer service and returns) so be aware that the stats shown will differ from the IRL and so will the heater which I would recommend if you are monitoring temps and running a different heatsink or fan system that will increase the air volume in your case updated quickly. I still have a disk #2 from my original purchase, disk #2 that I used to do a new build and clone windows 10, this unit had 2 failed clones (many errors) and the 3rd attempt ka gave a successful clone , which has worked so far since it was set up (I'm scared to touch it to be honest) this one is again on a completely different machine and the new build took 3 units, lots of crashes and oddities and the new unit works lower in r/w but at the moment i'm not surprised, so far this drive type seems to have problems with win 10 cloning and its r/w is below the advertised rating in gen 3x4 m2 nvmean older nvme outperforms it at the moment, and it's a bit sad as I had really high hopes for it. not surprised they have sales and coupons, had some issues with 3/3 just glad this one isn't crashing like my other two, will update any progress but from the looks of it I've updated 1- > 2 Stars as 1 device is finally closer to expected ratings and not dead or acting weird except 2 bad clones
