Coffee sucks. Convenience is the draw of Keurig, not the quality of the coffee produced. Chemex makes great coffee and you don't have to fiddle with K-cups or those messy eco-capsules. What I don't like about Chemex is that it's glass, which means it will break. I dropped my first and accidentally hit the counter with my second. A third is on the way from Revane. However, note that I did not switch to another coffee maker and chose Chemex. I'm spoiled for good coffee now, so Dripper and Keurig are out of the question, and the French press is way too chaotic. PRO TIP: Buy a good thermos — not a fake or travel mug, but a real thermos — to keep your brewed coffee hot for hours. If you're a coffee lover, ask Santa to bring you a Chemex. I promise you won't be disappointed.
