We already have a set of Shun knives, but they can't be compared to this one! Not only is it very sharp and easy to use, it's just a joy to look at. No, this is a true work of art. This knife has revived the joy of cooking that I haven't experienced in years. Cuts everything like butter (including meat, although I understand it's meant for veggies). This knife stayed sharper longer than other knives, although there were a few reasons for using it on a daily basis. We intend to buy more knives from this line in the future. This knife is also a great gift for anyone who values a good knife.
