BE CAREFUL WITH THIS MATERIAL. Educate yourself and get the right PPE before you work with them.

The seller does not report the dangers of handling ironwood. You have to be very careful with it because if it gets into your lungs, it's not going to get anywhere. My teacher said that in terms of lung effects it is similar to asbestos (he had experience with ironwood. You must use specific personal protective equipment depending on the gear you intend to use with that wood and clean everything *before* said PPE is removed.) I did not purchase this particular product but I have worked with ironwood before and you must do your research, get a good PPE and be careful! A seller who fails to disclose the dangers is irresponsible and I feel I have to leave this review for that reason.
