Great pump! I first used it on my 55 gallon tank and as stated on the packaging it puts out a lot of power but I found it too strong for this small tank. I transplanted it to my 300 gallon cichlid community tank and I love it! It definitely moves water and eliminates dead spots. There are many things I like about this pump. First, it is very easy to set up and simply attaches to the tank. This pump rotates easily in multiple directions after attaching to the tank. In addition, it has modulators that you can attach to the pump to direct the flow in the direction you want. Second, the flow rate produced by this pump is great! If you want movement in your aquarium, this is for you. On my 300 gallons, this pump is definitely making a lot of waves. The only downside I see is that I would only use this pump in a 100 gallon tank. This pump is too big for my 55 gallons. But if you have fish that live in a fast flowing river system this would be a great pump. Third, love the design of this pump. The pump is easy to move from one place to another, the pump head is easy to rotate, and modulators allow you to move the flow and create a flow anywhere. Overall I am happy with this pump, especially with its design. Pump rotation is a big ++ for me.
