This is our first purchase of these mugs. Larger straws are beneficial for young children, although the sharp end of the straw can pose a problem for children who like to poke around. The straws are colorful and their width makes it easy to drink thick cocktails. Each straw is individually wrapped, which is a bit of a hassle when making smoothies for three kids under four, but it's also nice that the straws can't get dust, flour or anything else. It's a nice thick plastic and the cups don't stick together when you pick one up. This was an issue with the last brand we used and that alone makes these cups, lids and straws worth buying again. It's a good price and value for money. If you're happy to reuse plastic cups (which we sometimes do), you can use them at least 6 or 7 times per cup before the plastic starts to get thin. We like you.
