For such a price, the kettle is pleasant. He does what he has to do and there is nothing to complain about! I love that it can be removed from the base so you can wash it or carry it around without worrying about the power plug. I don't like that the lid falls off when you open it - you have to keep your thumb on the little button the entire time you fill it or it falls off and you can't hold it open when you want the water to cool down faster for tea. However this is a small issue and for the price it was just what we needed!
