Review on TYC 800021P Subaru Cabin Air Filter: High-Performance Replacement Filter for Optimal Air Quality by Andrew Patel

I have used this filter for several years with good success. This item fits my 2007 Subaru Impreza 2.5i and when it came time to replace it the filter caught a lot of particles, dust and plant debris. As a nice touch from TYC, the filter comes with vehicle-specific instructions. This can usually be found easily online with a quick google search, but it was nice and even helped me remember the location of the screws when I removed the glove box to access the filter. Also not necessary, but a nice touch that not all filter manufacturers offer. I was very satisfied for the price and performance. 5/5** UPDATE **After replacing this filter with another brand sold here at Revain I have received confirmation of how much better the TYC filter is compared to other brands. Obviously, TYC spends a little more money on their product depending on the number of pleats in each filter. The more folds, the larger the surface and the better the filtration from clogging. Check out my photos to see what I mean. Next time I'll stick with TYC!
