Revainrating 5 out of 5

I have bought at least half a dozen elbow braces and this is the best

I have had tennis elbow for almost a year. Doctor MRI. Physical therapy. jada jada I've had it before and it cleared up, but this time it's really bad. Anyway, when it first started I had a pair left over from a few years ago when I carried them in my other hand. I've learned that they need a nice big bump to keep the pressure on the muscle. There are some with shallower bulges and they just don't do the job. The air pocket/bladder in this design is thick enough to get the job done. This is the first. Can the mass in the center put enough pressure on the muscular abdomen to make it effective? The second is the width of the buckle(s) (the plastic rectangle that the strap folds onto) and the strap. The buckle is just over 2 inches and the strap is exactly 2 inches (approx. 5 cm). What happens with others where the strap is about 1 inch long is the loop holding the buckle in place and the strap at the end breaks and the buckle at the end tries to hold the strap lengthwise. Then pull 1 : The material through the buckle is aligned in the thin direction. This breaks the material, making it less stable and you have to pull the strap more. It's annoying. But with this one, with a nice wide belt and buckle, I don't have that problem. If you've read this far and just stumbled upon a new bad tennis elbow, I also tell you this: Buy 3-4 of these I have one in my car, one on the bottom, one on the top and one in my gym bag. Wear it every time you are going to do something. Grocery store. Cut the lawn. anything.

Pros

Cons
  • Negligible repairability
