I took a chance on this waffle maker and I have no regrets. I didn't know if I would really be happy with this as many other similar waffle makers cost more but it has lasted for about a month now. I've made waffles a few times, just on the weekends, and they've been great. They don't stick to the surface and although cleaning between all the little squares is a hassle, its shape makes it easy to clean lol. I even overflowed once on the first try and it all bled out, but the plate underneath caught all the overflow and cleaned up nicely with a little extra effort. It took me a few tries to find the right setting for the perfect level of browning - I think it's correct if the dial is to the right of center, ie near the 1 o'clock mark. Very happy with my purchase!
