You get what you pay for.
Considering the cost of removing and cleaning the carburetor on my Goldwing, I thought the extra cost of the OEM filter was worth it. Chinese filters at half the price of a Honda filter are so cheap that the glue that connects the filter element to the canister sometimes comes loose and parts get into the carburetors. Spend a few dollars more for a genuine Honda filter.
