was just in love with this iron. I don't use an iron very often so I just knew I would have one for years to come. I've had this iron for about 7 months, I've used it about 5 times and I really liked its quality. One day, at the beginning of the 5th use, the retractable cord stopped working. Usually you pull the cord to the desired length and it stays off. Well when I let go of the line it flew back into the iron spool. In order to be sure to iron the item, I had to pull the entire cord out and tie it around the handle to keep the cord from being pulled in. Such a disappointment. This is ugly for me now. But it still works very well! Very smooth, hasn't accumulated rust from using aerosol starch, vapor works. So I'd say buy at your own risk as I'm having a love/hate moment with my iron 🤷🏽‍♀️
