Many hermit crab owners will tell you. Creating a natural habitat for crabs with vegetation is a big problem in **. I absolutely loved these leaves - and more importantly, I loved my crab! I built small moss shelters for them and one of the crabs settled in straight away. They give the aquarium a more natural look. It is difficult to find vegetation for a hermit crab aquarium. They like their climbing vines to look like treetops, but usually the only thing you can find is plastic greenery (bad for obvious reasons). And some plants are poisonous to them, so you have to be careful with live plants too. Until I find plants that are native to their natural habitat I can grow them in an aquarium, these leaves help a lot. They provide shelter, bedding, and presumably toys. Works for us!
