Description of ๐ŸŒฟ SunGrow Hermit Crab Large Indian Almond Leaves: Optimize Breeding with Dried Leaves for Enhanced Humidity

โœ” DELICIOUS BOTTOM FEEDER TREAT --- Bottom-dwelling fish such as cory catfish, Bristlenose plecostomus and Kuhli loach require certain forms of food and treats in order to comfortably feed. Because the catappa leaves settle to the bottom of your water tank, they are the perfect delicious dietary supplement for your petโ€™s downturned mouth. Watch as your fish shred the leaves right down to the skeleton. โœ” PROVIDES SHELTER AND PRIVACY SPOTS --- At a practical size of between 7โ€ and 9โ€ in length, the pack of 10 SunGrow Large Indian Almond Leaves provides substantial areas for your bottom-dwelling fish and other aquatic pets to swim around and hide behind. The leaves also create cozy and secure places for your fish to breed and spawn their eggs. Baby fish can stay among the leaves until they are confident to come out and play. โœ” RELEASES ELEMENTS THAT STABILIZE pH LEVELS --- Once catappa leaves are fully waterlogged, they release elements that help in stabilizing the pH value in your aquarium water. They also soften the water and contain medicinal properties that benefit your aquatic pets by conditioning their water. It imparts color and encourages reproduction as well. โœ” MIMICS BLACKWATER HABITAT FOUND IN HABITAT --- Once you add the large catappa leaves in the water tank, gradually, they will turn your aquarium water a yellowish brown color. This is evidence that the leaves are doing their job, as the characteristics and appearance of the water mimic the blackwater habitat that your pleco and catfish live in while in the wild. The color is an indicator that your pet fish are getting the essential elements that they need to thrive. โœ” USEFUL TO MANY TYPES OF AQUATIC LIFE --- These Giant Miracle Leaves are the ones that youโ€™ll find in the wild, making them an excellent addition to a variety of habitats. Along with aquariums, the leaves serve as leaf litter for vivariums, paludariums, terrariums, and ripariums. Fish such as pleco, catfish, cichlids, killifishes, characins, and gouramis benefit from the blackwater environment. These leaves can be used in a hermit cage as well, to make a more naturalistic cage.

My fish love the aquarium water treatment

My plecos love the leaves. One pulls him to the cave where he is hiding. I also found that they could eat it. Oh, and my angelfish breeds about every 8 days.

Happy with these sheets

I bought 3 packs of these almond sheets and am very happy with them. I will continue to buy because I feel I am getting my money's worth. I also love the large sizes.

Great addition to discus cymbal

Pleco, Aries and Discus love these reeds! Be sure to boil it on the stove before adding it directly to the tank. Gives the water a light amber color. Like the color of the tea. It also removes all trace elements. I always say: better safe than sorry.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Not many tannins.

I bought these for my plecos, I was hoping it would help turn my aquarium into a darkwater aquarium and I think these sheets didn't have enough tannins. So don't buy it if you plan to use it for an aquarium, although I think it's a good product for terrestrial hermit crabs.

Great for at home betta spa or betta hammocks!

I bought these to replace my cock hammocks and cook sheets to make my own cock spa to add some tannins to soften the water and increase the pH reduce. They last a long time before dissolving either in a tank or when cooking. Highly recommended for Betta aquariums!

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Only available in black

Crabbacca loves her!

Great price and my hermit crab loves them. This is the first time my crab has had them and he ate half of them the night I put them in. My crab lives 11 years and all the other crabs I've gotten to keep him company over the years have died so I'm trying to spoil the little fella with my favorites and it looks like another addition to the List.

Pros
  • Permanent test results
Cons
  • Available in white only

Good price legal Indian Almond Leaves

Real Indian Almond Leaves have been extracted, if they actually have any of the claimed effects I'm not sure. When I lived in Thailand the best breeders would put a fish in each faucet tank and these guys knew what they were doing so I thought it was worth including as it compares to the price of the tank, the fish, multiple plants and the sound costs a little substrate, lighting, filters, etc.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Protection

Habitat of the hermit crab.

Many hermit crab owners will tell you. Creating a natural habitat for crabs with vegetation is a big problem in **. I absolutely loved these leaves - and more importantly, I loved my crab! I built small moss shelters for them and one of the crabs settled in straight away. They give the aquarium a more natural look. It is difficult to find vegetation for a hermit crab aquarium. They like their climbing vines to look like treetops, but usually the only thing you can find is plastic greenery (badโ€ฆ

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • It's fine
