Review on 🚽 Smack Brushed Nickel Recessed Toilet Paper Holder - Contemporary Hotel Style Wall Toilet Paper Holder with Rear Mounting Bracket by Janet Winn

I grabbed this holder because the one I have at the apartment couldn't hold more than 'normal' rolls. I have a small bathroom and buying a separate TP rack is not an option for me. After checking out a few different ones on Revain, despite some reviews, I decided it wasn't made for "mega" reels. I had nothing to lose with Revane's return policy. I installed it in about 10 minutes (at least half of that time was spent removing my existing holder). I tried reusing an existing hole and thought it was fine, but noticed the bottom wasn't flush. The existing pit was not high enough. After a few days I took the crown out and cut about 1/4 inch more off the bottom and that was enough for the new holder to sit flush. Unfortunately, when fully tightened, the bracket did not fit the interior wall quite snugly. I added a few pieces of double sided mounting tape and sealed the excess space between the wall and the bracket. The side panel of my vanity is thinner than any I've ever seen. But my temporary solution worked just perfectly. As for why I bought it, I am happy to report that it works very well for "mega" buns. I usually use Charmin Ultra and until recently I had no trouble finding standard reels in stores. That has changed and the Megas were the only ones I could find locally. I had no problems downloading or using megarolls from this holder. I can't confirm if other brands work well or not but Charmin Ultra in mega reels had no issues. I am very satisfied with the holder and would take another one at any time if necessary.
