My husband has an old Craftsman band saw that is huge and heavy. These wheels were the perfect complement as they allowed him to move the saw around when needed. They seem a bit clunky at first, but once you understand the physics behind the wheels, it's just amazing. These wheels can be assembled in two different ways. (1) Use the screw holes and secure with the supplied screws (2) Attach the mounting plate, then slide the roller onto the plate and use the locking pin to lock it in place. Either installation option requires drilling holes in the chassis. We followed the instructions for attaching the mounting plate and were able to mount all four wheels within an hour. The kit contains the necessary accessories. He really likes how the wheels are removed. Step on the handle to lower it, move the bench to where it's needed, then raise it again to keep the saw firmly on the ground.
