Review on Dorman 520 119 Suspension Control Assembly by Daniel Jackson

There seems to be some confusion as to whether these UCAs are suitable for Astro vehicles. They do. This part 520-119 fits the LEFT steering box and part 520-120 fits the RIGHT. Rear wheel drive Chev Astro or GMC Safari Vans all years 1985 thru 2002 or later. As for 4/3/05 models with big wheels, I'm not sure. They are NOT suitable for 4WD models as 4WD folks have the luxury of tubular upper control arms. Absolutely no complaints about this UCA. Next to the OEM part, they look 100% exactly the same. They come with center shafts and bushings pre-installed, saving a lot of extra work as they don't need to be installed with a press. And they come with ball joints already installed. BJs are riveted like OEM BJs. This means that at some point when replacing ball joints like OEMs you will need to drill/turn rivets. BUT - up to this point it will probably be cheaper to just replace the entire control arm including the shafts, bushings and ball joints. Dorman did just that with this part. And as always, Revain makes it easier and faster.
