As for the cargo network, it does what it's supposed to do - hold groceries and other types of cargo. Is it working fine? Fur. I really want the bottom to fold a bit so grocery bags can lay flat on it and stay upright. Currently, the core of the elastic cord at the bottom of the net is exactly in the middle, so groceries and other things tend to tilt sideways. Also, the grille ends too close to the trunk edge, so I have to slide it back for the tailgate to close properly. Perhaps this is a flaw in the design of the barrel rather than the net itself - perhaps the hooks should have been positioned further back. In any case, it's a bit annoying. I like that the bottom of the net hooks onto the carabiners. It's much easier to put on and take off.
