Toyota PT347 48080 Cargo Net Envelope Review

Exactly as advertised but Toyota's design leaves something to be desired. The mesh is too fine to hold regular grocery bags upright.

Works well for the money. I was considering giving this 3 stars but the price tipped me to 4 stars. I'm not sure what I was hoping for. simply more.

This is a double faced mesh. Pull the plastic tab to separate the two sides wide enough to fit groceries. I find it quite expensive for what it is, but that's how my wife wanted it. :-)

Mesh is well made - tight with lots of tension. The product is of really good quality, but the Toyota's design leaves a lot to be desired and, as many noted in their reviews, it sits very far from the hatch. Very uncomfortable with medium to large sized bags.

This net is too fine for good load securing. I also have a 2007 Highlander and its cargo net is much deeper and holds items more securely. My shopping bags often turn over when I enclose them in this net.

This is a genuine Toyota part so the quality is good but the Highlander design is poor as it is too short to be of great value be. Bags fall and also too close to the back gate. But these properties are actually due to the low mounting points in the vehicle. I'm trying to find a car mod to improve things.

As for the cargo network, it does what it's supposed to do - hold groceries and other types of cargo. Is it working fine? Fur. I really want the bottom to fold a bit so grocery bags can lay flat on it and stay upright. Currently, the core of the elastic cord at the bottom of the net is exactly in the middle, so groceries and other things tend to tilt sideways. Also, the grille ends too close to the trunk edge, so I have to slide it back for the tailgate to close properly. Perhaps this is a flaw
