Yesterday I applied putty to numerous cracks according to directions and it seems to be drying very well turning into a hard black bead as expected. The cap, on the other hand, has a very poor design. One would think that these days they could come up with a much better design for a product that is very dirty and extremely difficult to clean up if something spills. You need to pull out and cut the pipe from the inside. No big deal other than it's covered in resin! Even if you have leftovers, the lid is no longer a lid, just a spout and more mess is possible. There must be a better way. Hopefully the product itself will do the job.
