It does its job! You have to run it under warm water a few times while showering/shaving, but it's not a big deal if you hold it in your hand while you shave or if the tap isn't too far away. The cord it hangs from is long and easy to adjust. It must be cleaned with vinegar. I keep vinegar in a small spray bottle in the shower. No other cleaner works. The hooks that come with the mirror are more than strong enough to hold a plastic mirror. They are not of high quality; they are made of aluminium. The lining wears out over time. This is not a mirror that you can expect to look beautiful for years. You can use it for a year or two before the cosmetic appearance starts to fade. You can limit damage to the back of the mirror by adding flat rubber bumpers to each corner. The back comes off due to the lack of protection on the back. Overall a good mirror for a small price. I have two. One for at home and one for on the go. This is NOT the kind of mirror that can be dipped in hot water once, then hung on the wall and shaved. You need to keep it under water regularly during use.
