No one did anything wrong here, but as PetSafe explained to me over the phone, the items that Revain sells are sometimes in stock for a VERY long time. In the case of batteries, this can be bad. I have purchased PetSafe replacement batteries from Revain several times (because buying things from Revain is 100 times easier than anywhere else). Unfortunately, the quality of these batteries was inconsistent. When I called PetSafe, not only did they offer me some batteries for free for my troubles (which is absolutely not their fault), but they sold me a set of batteries and paid for their nickel's expedited shipping! (Anyone with a dog and a PetSafe electronic door will know that you DO NOT want the door not to work for ANY time. You've taught your dog to use it - you definitely don't want to teach him!) Finish Order them directly from PetSafe and you always get a reliable product. I don't want to advise against buying from Revain, but in this particular case the nature of the product simply encourages direct purchase.
