I used American Crew Fiber and Pomade. I would describe this product, "Shaping Cream", as the middle, the perfect balance. My hair is thick, a bit coarse, but soft. I wear my hair short, almost like a bun, and usually leave it longer so I can brush it (longer, I mean 4-5 inches on top, sometimes more). What I didn't like about the fibers is that they can be too clay like and my hair usually gets too coarse. I found the fiber worked better the shorter my hair was, but even then it was a very strong and stiff hold. It actually worked as intended, but not to my liking. What I didn't like about the lipstick was the strong shine and, depending on use, the greasy feeling in the hair. And again you buy a glossy lipstick so it works as intended but not to my liking. The shaping cream (this product) works amazing. It mixes well in your hands for application. It is very easy to work with him. My hair doesn't look greasy and lasts all day. It makes my hair look and feel natural. It blows in the wind but springs back when I run my hand through my hair to fix it. Provides hold whether my hair is long or short. Almost no glitter which I prefer and has a very light coconut scent. The amount provided in a container easily lasts me for about a year. For the price it's worth it. I will buy again.
