So close but not quite.

I have a 13 year old Edge Limited and it seems like the clearance in the floor hook holes is about 0.25" to the rear so it doesn't fit perfectly, the mats press against the seats and if I cut they will never lie flat. Bought a kit for my Nissan Cube 5 years ago and they have been great. They are the same quality, it's just frustrating that they don't quite fit.
