Update #2 While I was preparing, the alternator to pull back, I noticed that the mass has loosened up a bit, after a good tightening everything seems to be fine again. Addendum: After a few days of driving, the alternator died. We'll be back, definitely not recommended. See below for my original review and a good story on fitting my 99 Prism to my Chevy. Bought this for my son, a 99 year old Chevy (Corolla). Inserted, would have been very easy, 25 minute job, but the mounting holes didn't quite line up. They were close enough to align that we fiddled with them for another half hour before simply drilling the end of the threaded hole and taking the longer screw and screwing it on.
