My old alternator squeaked so I'm guessing the bearings are bad. This is perfect for my 2003 Taurus SE. If you have a Taurus from the same era, check if your alternator has 2 or 3 bolt points like this one. This confirms that you are ordering the correct alternator. Installation took about an hour.

The quality seems good. All holes fit without any problems, the assembly went smoothly. The voltage regulator was up to about 14.2 volts and the output was up to date as well. They print out the alternator test results and leave them in the box for you to see. I've had no problems with it and will buy it again if it fails in 10 years.

Appeared in a slightly crumpled packaging but it is clearly a very high quality product. The charging connector (cable to battery) was oriented differently than the one FoMoCo replaced, but that didn't matter much. Supplies a stable voltage of 14.5 VDC. No more flickering headlights and idling! The pulley pictured is black, the one on the unit is anodized steel (brass finish).

junk. Garbage. Terrible service. Garbage. Shortly after I bought it it stopped working and when I tried to get them to give a guarantee I had to pay them shipping. I won't spend $50 to send you an unwanted generator. This is not a guarantee. If I wanted to buy something that I would have to replace in 3 months, I would buy from Autozone. At least when things go bad I just have to go to the local store instead of spending half the price to send them junk.

Description states this item is 110A as per DB website but test print is included through lists of 105A generators with a maximum power of 120A.
