Description of Zento Deals 8 Pieces of 6 Ohm 50W Load Resistors – Eliminate Flickering LED Turn Signal Lights, License Plate Lights, and DRL

✺CONTROLS CURRENT FLOW- The Zento Deals 6 Ohm 50W LED Load Resistors will control the current flow in electrical circuits. It will put a specific amount of resistance into your LED lights to make it function properly because LEDs uses less energy than your regular lights. ✺FIXES LIGHT ERRORS- The Zento Deals 6 Ohm 50W LED Load Resistors will fix your LED lights problems such as blinker flash error, no flashing or burnt out bulb indications, hyper or error flashing of LED turn signal, parking / driving running light or license plate light. ✺HIGH QUALITY- The Zento Deals 6 Ohm 50W LED Load Resistors is made of high quality materials to sustain a long lasting usage. ✺EASY INSTALLATION- The Zento Deals 6 Ohm 50W LED Load Resistors is easy to install, just connect one wire to ground and the other wire to the turn/brake wire. Please apply the provided quick wire clip so you don’t have to cut any existing wires. One Load Resistor is required for each turn signal bulb. Note: LED Load Resistor will get hot, therefore, please don't mount the LED load resistors on plastic, hoses or painted surfaces. ✺UNIVERSAL- The Zento Deals 6 Ohm 50W LED Load Resistors will work on any vehicle and can be connected across the turn signal bulbs or License Plate Lights to simulate the load of a regular filament bulb (2 Amp load).

Satisfied with the purchase

Resistors arrived well packaged, I found the heatsink case well finished. I'm glad it comes with these clamp connections, although they look cheap they made it, I just rubber taped the connections to prevent corrosion. LED to avoid hyper flash. Another thing I did was increase the length of the wires.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Doubtful

Works great and is very easy to install.

. You just need to make sure you connect 1 wire to ground and the other wire to the turn signal wire. You'll either need a test light to determine this, or you'll need to remove a piece of each wire and test it. For me it was the obvious black ground wire and blue wire, but yours might be different. They get hot so find a place to mount them on a metal frame, drill a small hole and screw them in place.

Pros
  • . Great price.
Cons
  • . Not bad but...

2016 Tacoma Solution

Worked better than expected. I lengthened the wiring (use the correct gauge!) to make it easier to attach the resistor to the housing just behind the headlights on my 2016 Tacoma. They worked like a charm. The turn signal block on the dash now sees the LEDs as bulbs. Incidentally, I paired two ENDPAGE 7443 (rear) with SIRIUS 7440 Anti Hyper Flash lamps with built-in terminators (front). ENDPAGE was $16 and Sirius was $40. I was willing to pay extra for Sirius for a simple solution, but you can…

Great product at a great price.

I ordered these to fix turn signals flashing too fast after switching to LED lights. They worked great. Also used them to fix a flickering issue when switching to LED headlights. This is a quality resistor. The first thing you have to do after buying it is to throw the zippers in the trash. NEVER USE SCOTCH LOCKS! Always solder the connections and cover them with shrink tubing. If you can't, then at least use heat shrink connectors. ALSO they are designed for heating. To ensure the life of this

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • No performance

The issue has been temporarily resolved.

on a Silverado 1500 from 2011. Front 4 turn signals/parking lights, rear 4 turn signals/brake/parking lights. Installed in reverse. Used thermal paste and attached it to the frame of the truck. You can turn on the turn signal and they work fine. but add the parking lights and hit the brake pedal, you'll get about 10 seconds of exercise before the hyperflare comes back. If they cool down for a minute, the hyper flash will disappear with only the blinker on. It seems that they overheat and then…

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • I installed a few small things

Works as expected. 2009 WRX Premium

This helps eliminate the hyper firmware. but they get quite hot especially when you use them in combination with tail light and turn signals. I ran 2 of these in parallel just for the parking lights and they were still way too warm for my liking, I really didn't want to risk setting my car on fire. Also, you're still using the same if not MORE power to drive LEDs with resistors. I took them off and spent the extra money on a rotary relay. Don't skimp on the relay, buy a Diode Dynamics SmartTap,

Pros
  • A sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • Almost everything is ok

HOT HOT HOT! for resistors

Vehicle: 2006 VW New Beetle Position: brake/rear Yes, the electrical system behaves like the good old light bulb for me; but THEY ARE DANGEROUSLY HOT! When I say "hot" I mean nearly 400°F (as measured by a pyrometer)! I just put resistors on the brake circuit (not necessarily on the tail light side); In my beetle I only had to connect one resistor on each side (didn't change when there were resistors on both sides). I tested them at an ambient temperature of 36°F (outside) for about 15 minutes.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • I don't remember

Good bang for the buck.

Great deal. You will need one for each turn signal if you are going to switch to LED lights. So if you do front and rear you only need 4. Since it came with an 8 I went ahead and replaced the LED lights on 2 cars. The price was great compared to others that only offer 2 or 4 resistors. The installation is very easy. You simply connect one side to the positive wire, which gets 12 volts when the turn signal is on, and the other side to the ground wire. Because LED lights don't have much…

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • Poor instructions

Temperature comment

I installed them on a fog light wiring adapter (H8 to 9006) that I recently got. I tested these resistors on a workbench because I knew they would get very hot during operation, but I wanted to be sure of their operating temperature before mounting them around plastic parts like headlight and fog light housings (they're all made of ABS) . After only a few minutes of running (I measured them 5 minutes after the lights were turned on) they reached 460 degrees Fahrenheit with a normal range of…

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Interchangeable
