on a Silverado 1500 from 2011. Front 4 turn signals/parking lights, rear 4 turn signals/brake/parking lights. Installed in reverse. Used thermal paste and attached it to the frame of the truck. You can turn on the turn signal and they work fine. but add the parking lights and hit the brake pedal, you'll get about 10 seconds of exercise before the hyperflare comes back. If they cool down for a minute, the hyper flash will disappear with only the blinker on. It seems that they overheat and then don't pull their load at the rated resistance. When they cool down, they work. If you are the owner of this year's truck, you cannot replace the flash module as it is not available this year. The only option is good expensive incandescent bulbs or resistors. It would be nice to find 6 ohms that can deliver 100 watts without buying duplicates and trying to find mounting locations to allow 6 ohms/50 watts to be paralleled.
