This is a great product! I used this to make stencils with my Cricut for my craft shop. I used it as a template for this image which includes small thin texts/fonts. I used to buy .007 gauge for the same purpose and it worked great too, but given the price difference per square inch I'm sticking with this .005 version. If you are familiar with cutting machines, a thickness of 0.005 would be comparable to double protective film on cutting mats. It doesn't puncture, it's flexible - great for uneven surfaces like pallet signs of varying thicknesses as .005 plastic flexes/stays flat on the surface better than thicker (more rigid) material. However, with thin designs, you can tear it if you are too rough or use an adhesive that is too strong. In my experience I have had no problem cutting this product or using it as a stencil multiple times. The setting I used for this was: blade depth 3, pressure: max, speed: high - single cut, no double cut required.
